Welcome!

I am a PhD candidate in political science and sociology at the European University Institute in Florence. During my PhD, I have visited Harvard’s Department of Government and NYU’s Department of Sociology. I am currently visiting Utrecht’s Department of Sociology. My doctoral dissertation studies the relationship between socioeconomic and political social network homogeneity, and political polarization in democracies. I argue that homogeneous social and political groups serve to strengthen and reinforce political distinctions, while heterogeneous groups moderate them. On this website, you find more information about my research and background.
